Dr. iur. Elisabeth Berger
programme director
My interest in Liechtenstein law found expression in several publications and a research stay of several years at the Liechtenstein Institute in Bendern (FL). In 2018, the opportunity arose to take over the management of the doctoral program in law at UFL. I was very happy to seize this opportunity to work in Liechtenstein again and it is very important to me to help students successfully complete their studies.
Studied law at the Universities of Vienna and Salzburg; 2001 doctorate in law (with distinction); 1988 - 1993 lecturer (Verlag Manz, Vienna, and Verlag Lang, Vienna); 1993 - 2005 research assistant at the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft, Vienna; 1995 - 2010 university assistant at the Institute for Legal and Constitutional History at the University of Vienna.
