The Faculty of Medical Sciences and the Faculty of Law offer part-time doctoral programmes that combine theory and practice perfectly. The multidisciplinary composition of the students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences and the high degree of independence of the UFL enable high-level scientific research to be carried out outside the mainstream, but with great social relevance. Research, education and training programmes focus on improving the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of health care, as well as optimising the integration of service provision and the transfer of knowledge between science and clinical application.
The Faculty of Law represents the University's commitment to excellence in research and teaching. It attaches great importance to creating and maintaining structures that encourage creativity, adaptability and innovation.
The Faculty of Law imparts legal knowledge and fosters critical thinking and argumentation skills that are essential for the future of jurisprudence and the further development of the rule of law.
